Selling on Consignment

Sellers

On occasion we are requested to sell original Globe Wernicke Furniture and Equipment through our website and are now able to offer this service through our dedicated Antiques Website.

If you have an item you would like to sell we can sell this for you on consignment. With consignment we mean we simply act as an intermediary between the buyer and the seller. Once the sale has been agreed we will arrange for the buyer and seller to contact each other at a mutual acceptable location to either inspect and/or collect the furniture / equipment or arrange suitable transport.

To list your item you need to contact us on consignment@wernicke.co.uk with details including photographs, location, your asking price etc.

We will verify your item and contact you to inform you of the costs to sell your item. You are under no obligation to proceed with selling your item until you are happy and can withdraw at any time. If you have any questions about selling please email: consignment@wernicke.co.uk

Buyers

Consignment items listed on our Website and will identified as 'On Consignment' and as such we can take no responsibility with regard to the accuracy or quality of the items as they have not been seen or inspected by us.

We will verify the authenticity for as far as possible using Globe Wernicke catalogues to ensure no imitations are listed. If you have any doubt about an item listed please contact us on: consignment@wernicke.co.uk

Charges

Our charges for consignments will vary depending on the item being sold but range from 5 to 30%

Buying

If you are looking to sell your Globe Wernicke Bookcases or other Office Furniture we are always interested to hear from you and give you an offer for your Bookcase or other Furniture. The same information is required as if you were selling on consignment.

Valuations

We are not able to offer any free evaluations for your Globe Wernicke Furniture. If you require a valuation for insurance purposes please contact us on valuations@wernicke.co.uk. There will be a charge for the valuation of Ł35.00.
